Volunteer
We have volunteers at three public libraries and at some public schools. If you know a little about chess and would like to help out teaching kids and/or adults how to play chess, contact us. Please note that all volunteers who will work with children will be expected to undergo a background check by the city or school district where they volunteer.
Join the US Chess Federation
Join (or renew) the US Chess Federation through Arlington Chess Club, and a portion of your registration is returned to Arlington Chess Club. You can join at any Arlington Chess Club Open or Quick Quads tournament.

Become an Enhanced Member
Enhanced members of Arlington Chess Club are allowed to vote in our corporate meetings and are allowed to hold office in our club. Enhanced membership is only available to select people who regularly attend our club meetings and/or tournaments. To become an enhanced member, one must pay a joining fee and be approved by the board of directors. If you are contributing a lot of time to our club and are interested in becoming an enhanced member, speak with us.
Donate Equipment
If you would like to help us out financially - buy us equipment. Please consult with us first to be sure it is equipment we can use. We are a Texas non-profit corporation and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)4 social welfare organization. We are not a charity, so donations to the club are NOT tax deductible. Our largest donors include a few founding members of the club, some officers, and the Tarrant County Chess club.
